Integrating Your AWS Account

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a cloud computing platform offering a broad set of services for compute, storage, networking, databases, security, machine learning, IoT, analytics, and more.
The RHL ASM Platform allows integration with your AWS account to enhance visibility into your cloud infrastructure.

Using AWS Access Key and Secret Access Key​

  1. Go to Integrations & API under the Settings tab.
  2. In the Cloud Connectors menu, select the Access Key option under the AWS section.
  3. Enter your:
    • AWS Access Key
    • AWS Secret Access Key

      These can be obtained from your AWS IAM Console.
      Example:

      • Access Key ID: AKIAIOSFODNN7EXAMPLE
      • Secret Access Key: wJalrXUtnFEMI/K7MDENG/bPxRfiCYEXAMPLEKEY
  4. Click Send Keys to complete the integration.
  5. Upon success, a confirmation notification will be displayed.
  6. To integrate multiple AWS accounts, click the ‘+’ button.

Using AWS Role ID​

  1. Go to Integrations & API under the Settings tab.
  2. In the Cloud Connectors section, choose the IAM option under the AWS tab.
  3. Enter the following details:
    • IAM Role ARN
    • IAM External ID

      Need help generating IAM credentials? Click the Instructions to Connect button at the top of the page.

  4. Click Send Keys.
  5. If the provided details are valid, you will receive a notification confirming successful integration.
