Different View of Attack Surface Page

RHL ASM Platform is designed to manage attack surfaces by detecting and safeguarding against external threats that could potentially harm an organization. This platform enables users to identify security vulnerabilities and assess areas of risk. By conducting continuous analysis, it can detect changes in the attack surface, thereby reducing the likelihood of cyberattacks. By highlighting potential attack surfaces, the platform helps mitigate security breaches.

The Attack Surface module is further divided into:

Asset Exposure

  • The Asset Exposure feature provides a comprehensive list of identified assets, along with details such as URL, asset type, asset tag, potential risks, cloud classification, and the first and last seen dates.
  • As the number of identified assets can be significant, manually reviewing them may be time-consuming. To streamline this, you can filter the assets by type, tags, and status for easier data management.
  • Filtering options include:
    • Asset Types and Tags: Click on a specific type or tag to view related assets.
    • Asset Status:
      • All Active Assets Since: Total number of active assets discovered since the last scan.
      • New Assets Since: Newly discovered assets in recent scans.
      • Assets Not Found Since: Inactive assets no longer found in recent scans.

Asset Inventory

  • The Asset Inventory section displays all discovered assets in a column and row format.
  • Each asset includes details such as asset type, ports, tags, technologies used, number of vulnerabilities, severity, and first and last seen dates.
  • The data can be filtered by asset name (URL), asset type, ports, tags, and technologies.

Third‑Party Assets

  • Third‑Party Assets refer to any digital or physical resources or services used by an organization but not owned, developed, or directly managed by it. These are provided by external vendors or service providers and are often integrated into the organization’s infrastructure or applications.

Screenshots

The Screenshots section is divided into two parts:

  • Asset Application Screenshot: Displays screenshots of the assets associated with the organization.
  • Possible Third‑Party Associations: Displays screenshots of the third‑party assets associated with the organization.
