How can I track a reported security risk?
Managing security vulnerabilities can become overwhelming depending on the size of an organization's digital footprint and its existing security practices. To streamline this process, the RHL ASM Platform provides the Issue Tracker module.
The Issue Tracker helps users monitor and manage the resolution of identified security risks. Routing is rule‑based: create Notification & Ticketing Rules to auto‑create tickets (e.g., Severity ≥ HIGH). You can also manually send any security risk instance from the Security Risks module to the Issue Tracker.
Sending a Security Risk Instance to the Issue Tracker
To manually send a security risk instance to the Issue Tracker, follow these steps:
- Navigate to All Security Risks under the Security Risks section.
- In the list view, locate the desired security risk instance.
- On the right end of the row, click the Send to Issue Tracker button.
- A Send to Issue Tracker pop-up will appear.
- The pop-up displays the category of the selected risk and includes a field to assign its priority—indicating the urgency of resolution.
- Select the appropriate priority level.
- Click Add to transfer the risk to the Issue Tracker.
Once sent, organization administrators can assign the issue to designated users for resolution within the Issue Tracker.
